Description

The journey

Ha Giang is Vietnam’s northernmost province: limestone peaks, terraced valleys and the villages of some fifteen ethnic groups. This route climbs it slowly, one pass at a time, and ends each day with a meal at the table of a homestay or a quiet hotel.

The days are long and the climbs are real. A support vehicle rides ahead of the group with water, snacks, tools and first aid, so you can rest in the van and rejoin whenever you choose. E-bikes are available for anyone who wants the views without every metre of the climb.
